Police Reserve Tracy Harding (left) being sworn in by Mayor Doug Johnson (right)
Thursday August 6, 2015

The Bryan Police Department has a group of dedicated individuals who work toward making Bryan a better community. This group is the reserve officers of the Bryan Police Department.

The police reserves have received the training requirements required by the state to be a sworn police officer in Ohio thus have full police powers.

These officers are often seen at local sporting events, parades, and special activities. The reserves supplement the full time officers at fire scenes, major crime scenes, during storms, help in searching for lost children, and patrol duties.

The reserves are authorized twelve members and currently have openings.

If you are interested in becoming a police reserve please contact Sgt. Cliff Weigel or Sgt. Stan Nihart at the Bryan Police Department 419.633.6050.
