Chaplain's Program

On January 15, 2003 the Bryan Police department swore in Pastor Roger Blough as the first department Chaplain.
The police Chaplain program is designed to provide an additional avenue of support for the public and the police officers in times of crisis.
The police Chaplain will provide support when our officers are dealing with victims of crime, death notifications, visiting police officers and their families when they are ill and offering prayers at special services.
The police chaplain has performed several wedding ceremonies for members of our department and a funeral service for the daughter of an officer.
The Police Chaplain will be of assistance to those who request his services.
Reverend Blough has attended the Bryan Police departments Citizen Police Academy, and state sponsored training seminars for police Chaplain's.
